Dr. Tony Kang

Dr. Kang completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Manitoba. He completed a B.Sc. degree in 1980 and a D.M.D. degree in 1984. Dr. Kang has extensive experience with patient care having worked five summers as a Psychiatric Nurses Aide. While in dental school, he spent his summers performing dentistry in many native communities in Northern Manitoba, with the Dental College. This opportunity provided extensive experience especially in the fields of oral surgery and pedodontics.



Upon graduation, Dr. Kang joined a very busy practice in Red Deer, Alberta. In his time in Alberta, he spent extensive hours in continuing education courses at the University of Alberta and in Vancouver, B.C. Dr. Kang also practiced dental surgery in Inuvik General Hospital and in general practice in Inuvik, N.W.T. for two weeks a year while still practicing in Red Deer and Calgary.
